I love having house plants, especially in the winter when the only green plant outdoors are the pine and spruce trees, and even they are often heaped with snow. Jonathan put this shelf over the kitchen sink for me, and it is a wonderful place to keep some plants. I have aloe, rosemary, a spider plant and parsley. On the other side of the kitchen, I keep a philodendron on top of a partial wall. I would like to eventually have more house plants. I think Snake Plants are so pretty!
The pond and woods behind our home
Today is very sunny, and quite warm. The little snow we had on the ground is melting rapidly. We have really been having an unusually sunny December, which I am thankful for. There are some winter months when the sun only shines one or two days out of the whole month, and oh, how I do miss sunshine!
Some rays of late afternoon sunshine
I was able to take our girls outside for a long walk this afternoon, carrying Eden in my new Ergo! It is such a comfortable baby carrier! I hope to do a post about baby wearing soon.

Your plants look nice! I especially like the aloe.

It would be so nice to look in our back yard and see what you see. Wow! I'm enjoying your posts :o)
ReplyDeleteDo you prefer the Ergo to a Moby? I've never seen or used one (Ergo).

I've never used a Moby, but I do like the Ergo! It is a soft structured backpack style carrier that divides the weight between your hips and shoulders.
ReplyDeleteThat's nice! Sounds pretty similar to a Moby, just less complicated. The Moby is just a really long piece of fabric that gets wound and tied up all around you and the baby :)...maybe you already knew that.
